SPARK Forum

  • Inauguration event for the SPARK Forum at the Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology. The forum was inaugurated on April 11, 2026, as a dynamic student club dedicated to enhancing leadership and technical skills. The event was led by Principal Dr. Goutham M A and organized under the guidance of Dr. Sampath S. Activities included technical talks, cultural programs, and sports events to promote student growth and innovation.
  • The Technical Talk on “Insights into AI-ML and GenAI” was organized by Department of Information Science and Engineering, for 6th Semester Students on 09-04-2025 from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM at BGS Seminal Hall HRD Block. The Resource Person Dr. Ashok Rao, given the Technical thereby enhances the Insights into AI-ML and GenAI
  • The Smart Hack (Smart India Internal Hackathon) 2025 was held on August 17, 2024, at the campus of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology. The event showcased innovation, creativity, and technical excellence among students. Open to all students of the institute, the hackathon witnessed enthusiastic participation from a total of 49 teams across various disciplines.
  • A workshop on “Graphical User Interface Design using Python GUI Frameworks – Gradio & PySimpleGUI” was conducted by the Information Science & Engineering Department for the 6th semester students from 21-06-2023 to 24-06-2023.
  • The Technical Talk on “User Experience and Interface Designing” was conducted at IS&E Dept. for the 2nd & 4th semester students 26-07-2023. The resource person for the workshop was Prithvi Sagar, who is working as a Product Designer at Buckler InfoTech, Bengaluru.
  • The workshop on “Cloud and DevOps Capabilities” was organized by the Department of Information Science and Engineering for the 6th semester students from 21-04-2025 to 25-04-2025 as a 5-day workshop at the Department of Information Science & Engineering.
  • The resource persons for the workshop were Satish S and Aditya B, who conducted the campus workshop on “Cloud and DevOps Capabilities.”
  • “INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN INDUSTRY: RECOGNISED INTERNSHIPS BY VTU” was organized by VTU in association with AIT, Chikkamagaluru as per the guidelines of VTU Syllabus for 8th Semester. On 30-01-2025 from11:00AM to 12:15PM at BGS Seminal Hall HRD Block.
  • The NPTEL Awareness Workshop – 1st Year Induction 2024–2025 was organized for first-year students to create awareness about the NPTEL online learning platform, certification courses, and opportunities for skill development through MOOCs. The resource person for the workshop was Anjali B V. Asst Professor , Dept of ISE. AIT  Chikkamagaluru.
  • On the occasion of Constitution Day, the Department of Information Science and Engineering organized an extension activity titled “The Constitution of India – Preamble to Celebrate” in association with Government of India initiatives on 15-09-2023 for the 4th Semester ISE students.
  • On 08-06-2024, a Hackathon was organized for the 4th and 6th Semester students in association with ISTE and Dhiway.
  • The event provided a platform for students to showcase their technical skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and innovative ideas. Students worked in teams to develop solutions for real-time challenges within the stipulated time.
  • On 30-01-2024, a Heritage Walk was organized for the 3rd Semester students under the aegis of NSS at Amrutesvara Temple Amruthapura in Tarikere Taluk.
  • The objective of the activity was to create awareness among students about the rich cultural heritage, historical significance, and architectural beauty of the heritage site. During the visit, students explored the historical monuments, learned about traditional art and architecture, and understood the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
  • The Department of Information Science and Engineering organized “DIGITISE Hackathon” on 08-06-2024 at Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their innovation, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities through team-based project development and coding activities. Students from various semesters actively participated in the hackathon with enthusiasm and creativity.
