As per the direction of Hon’ble Supreme Court, MOE, State Government, AICTE, DTE & VTU the following anti-ragging committee & squad has been constituted valid till further notification.

Objectives:

Anti-Ragging Committee will be the supervisory and advisory committee in preserving a Culture of Ragging Free Environment in the college Campus. The main objectives of this cell are as follows:

To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.
To publicize to all students and prevalent directives and the actions that can be taken against those indulging in ragging.
To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
To promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging came to the notice of the committee.
To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished.
To consider the complaints received from the students and conduct enquiry and submit report to the Anti-Ragging Committee along with punishment recommended for the offenders.
Oversee the procedure of obtaining undertaking from the students in accordance with the provisions.
Conduct workshops against ragging menace and orient the students.
To provide students the information pertaining to contact address and telephone numbers of the person(s) identified to receive complaints/distress calls.
To offer services of counseling and create awareness to the students.
To take all necessary measures for prevention of Ragging inside the Campus/ Hostels.

Anti-Ragging Squad Responsibilities

Regularly patrolling the campus to prevent any ragging activities
Reporting complaints to Anti-Ragging Committee
Other duties as per MHRD/AICTE/UGC/DTE/VTU directions
