Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). College is accredited by NAAC with “A” Grade. The college offers 4 year BE courses in Nine branches of engineering as in table below and with intake shown:

ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO UG PROGRAM:

• BE Programme:

Candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC / 10+2 Standard / Equivalent examination satisfying the following conditions:

• Admissions are done as per Government of Karnataka and AICTE Norms
• Subject Requirements
  • Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Mathematics.
  • Optional Subjects: Any one of the following: Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
  • Language Requirement: English must have been taken as one of the languages of study.
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with the following aggregate minimum marks in the above-mentioned subjects:
  • Candidates in the General Merit (GM) category must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% in these optional subjects, while candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Other Backward Classes (Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B) must secure a minimum of 40%.
• Candidate should have qualifying rank in either CET, COMEDK or JEE entrance test.

Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology offers 2-year M.Tech. courses in Three Specialization as in table below and with intake shown:

• M.Tech Programme:

A candidate with valid GATE score. A candidate who has passes examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the competent authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years/semester of the degree examination is eligible for admission to M Tech courses. 45% of marks in Q.E. in case of SC ST and Category -1 of Karnataka candidates.

Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology offers 2-year MBA course with specialization Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management (Dual & Single).

• MBA Programme:

A candidate who has passed recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree examination is eligible for admission to MBA courses. (45% of marks in Q.E. in case of SC ST and Category -1 of Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka candidates)
